
Daily Routine
During homeroom, Students will:
- Place device on "airplane mode" or off.
- Place phones, ear buds, watches etc. inside their pouch. If headphones are brought to school, they will be held in the office
- Store their phones in the pouch until dismissal
During last period, Students will:
- Open their pouch and remove items
- return their pouch to their last class period teacher.
*Students arriving late or leaving early will pouch/unpouch their phones in the Main Office.
Violations
If a student damages/loses their pouch or is found using electronic device in violation of the Yondr pouch policy, expectations, and procedures, the following consequences will apply:
First Offense:
- The electronic device will be confiscated and held in the main office.
- A parent/guardian (any person listed on students contact information) must pick up the items during normal business hours.
Second offense
- The electronic device will be confiscated and held in the main office.
- A parent/guardian must pick up the items during normal business hours
- The student will receive one day of detention.
Third Offense
- The electronic device will be confiscated and held in the main office.
- A parent/guardian must pick up the items during normal business hours
- The student will receive 1 to 3 day(s) of detention and a possible citation.
Insubordination
Refusing or arguing with the staff about the Yondr expectations and procedures is considered insubordination. Administration will utilize the discipline rules of the student handbook.
Replacement
Students are encouraged the keep track of their assigned pouch; a replacement pouch will cost families $30.
Damage
If a student intentionally damages their assigned Yondr puch or another student's Yondr pouch, they will be required to pay a $30 replacement fee, serve 1 day of ISS. and receive a citation. Examples of damage:
- ripped
- torn
- cut
- pen/pencil marks
- bent/cut pin
- signs of force to black button on flap
Medical Conditions
Any and all inquires about medical issues concerning the use of Yondr pouches and cell phones contact the school nurse
District Telephone Use
Students are permitted to use the telephone in the main office for emergencies only. Students are not permitted to use the telephone in their classroom at anytime. The School nurse will contact parent/guardian when child needs to return home due to illness.
